Body Revolution Day 67 of 90

Day 67 = Workout 9

Last time for this workout.  Wow time is flying by.  The soreness is not with me this week. So this week is following suit, the same as the rest of the program.  Sore the first week of the workouts, strong the second week.  AWESOME!!!   As I said yesterday, my butt FEELS like, it is looking more, like the girl's butt in that picture I posted in yesterday's blog post.  I checked myself out in the mirror last night and again this morning...I will get there.  I am ready to get on with Workouts 11 & 12...Monday morning it all begins.  I hope we work more abs again, just like in Workout 7, only HARDER!(be careful what you wish for Trina)

So you know how I have been cleaning out my closet and drawers???  The other week I got rid of all those Hold-The-Fat-In types of under garments that I had in my possession.  I am not as self conscience about my body anymore.  I don't care if I have slight bump or roll, because I know it won't be there much longer.  I don't want to have to spend money on things that will make me look good with my clothes on...I want to spend money on things that will make me look good with my clothes off.  Like good CLEAN FOOD, recipe books, workout clothes, workout DVDs and going to the SPA.

A positive attitude is a must for you to reach your goals.  Yes, we all have the moments where we feel like nothing is changing.  But it is!  I was looking at my 'before Body Revolution' picture, and I thought there isn't much change.  OH BUT THERE IS...I have lost 17 lbs since then.  I won't be able to see a true difference until I take an 'after' picture, and put them side by side.  I do notice the definition in my arms more and more each day.  We have to keep pushing towards the goals we set for ourselves.  Even if you have a bad moment in the day where you start snacking on something that you shouldn't be snacking on.  Think to yourself, "Stay Strong"...think about how far you have come from the day you decided to make the change, to become a Healthier Version of YOU.

Today's food...
Breakfast:  Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins

Lunch: Salmon Burger Patty Topped with Onion Crunch/Russet Potato Salad with Spinach & Lemon
I needed something quick again today.  I looked in the freezer and there it was...an already made Salmon Burger Patty.  I was going to defrost a bun for it and then I remembered, I still had some more of the potato salad in the fridge(there is still 1 serving left).  The combination of these two were great!  The lemon in the potato salad went nicely with the salmon.  I topped the salmon burger off with the Onion Crunch that my husband picked up the other day...YUM!

Snack: Banana Almond Smoothie/Blueberry, Pomegranate Sesame-Honey Bar

Dinner: Laksa with Shrimp & Vegetables
I finally tried this recipe.  I have wanting to do this one for a while now, and tonight I finally made it.  I will be making it again very soon.  Well after I eat the second serving in the next few days.  This one would be nice with chicken, beef or just vegetables.
This one takes some time to make, but I think it was worth it.

So this week has been crazy busy, day and night.  I have had 3 interviews for the daycare, we picked up our new kitten, Sok, on Monday night,  daughter's dance class and dinner on Tuesday night, kids swimming on Wednesday night, tonight, we bought an outfit for our son for the wedding, the wedding is tomorrow and I have a show, http://www.madebyhandshow.com/  on Saturday for Maus Wear in Mississauga, ON at the International Center...is Rest Day still on Sunday???  I hope so!

I am taking the day off tomorrow as our friends are getting married.  So I will start my day with Workout 10, then a shower and off to the spa after breakfast.  I will let you know all about it tomorrow.  However, tomorrow's blog post might be a short one, because it will be a very busy day.

Until then...Stay Strong!

Good night

  1. Great job on your plank!

Workouts 11 and 12 are tough! But they are the last ones so they are supposed to be! There are lots of abs and pushups in Workout 11. You'll love it. :) I think that Workout 11 is the hardest of all of them!
