Brazil Butt Lift Day 30 of 35

Day 30 = Sculpt

Wow Day 30 already...where did the time go? Only 4 more workout days left for my Brazil Butt Lift program.  I will push it hard throughout these last days.  I have to make up for last week.  I stepped on the scale this morning, it was the first time in a while, not a good idea after a week of holidays.  I stated that I was up 5 lbs...NOT good...but NOT to worry, I will NOT be beat by the scale.  I will adjust my weight ticker at the end of the week.  My clothes are all still fitting the same, and remember I fit into those size 6 jeans, so I am NOT going to lose any sleep over what the scale reads out.  I did have my last snack too late last night...I MUST stop doing that.  During my holidays my eating was as scheduled as it normally is during the week.  I have said it before, and I will say it again..."I love holidays, but it's always nice to come back to a scheduled routine".  I LIKE waking up at 5:30am.  But that is so hard to do if you are sleeping in a hotel room with 3 other sleeping bodies who look so cozy in bed, I look at them and think..."just a few more minutes"...as an hour and a half go by...that pushes my workout time into our FUN time...Oh well it's holidays RIGHT?!?!  I knew the summer would be tough, but that's okay because I'm tough too.  It's time to get back to it.
So if you still have holidays...ENJOY...but don't fall apart.  Keep in mind your journey you have set out on.  The journey to become a Healthier Version of YOUrself.  Make sure you get in some of your workouts while on holiday, you'll be glad you did.  It will make it easier to train harder once you are back to your regular routine.  OKAY...SO...IF you DO NOT have any holidays left...GET TO WORK!!!!  NO EXCUSES!!!!  Those muscles are not going to grow just sitting on your A$$...no, no, no.  The only thing that will grow is your A$$.  And we don't want that.  So, get up and move!!!  Whether you train at home, at the gym, outside or in the pool...Get.  Moving.  Now.

In today's workout, I used the 10 pound dumbbells for most exercises.  I definitely feel much stronger doing certain moves now as to when I first started this program.  I have become a stronger Mermaid too, but not so graceful.  I will try to be more graceful on Thursday and/or Saturday when I do this workout again.  I am going to push to UP button tomorrow.  As I have been renaming the days of the week through my Facebook Page, "A Healthier Version of ME and YOU", tomorrow is not just Wednesday, we will now refer to it as...Wicked Workout Wednesday.  This is where you have to push the UP button, try something different, crazy or do a combination of workouts so it's BIG and WICKED!!!  But don't hurt yourself.  Tomorrow I will be doing Cardio Axe + High & Tight + Tummy Tuck and possibly a spin at some point in time.  I will try to fit it all in in the morning before I start my work day.  What are YOU going to do?

Today's food...
Breakfast: Ricotta with Graspberry Jelly & a Sprinkle of Bran Cereal

Since the Graspberry Jelly will only keep for about 5 days I must use it up.  So you are going to see this being used in a lot of different ways this week.  This was a meal from the Brazil Butt Lift Fat Burning Foods booklet, I just changed it of course.  Instead of the fruit, I subbed in the Jelly.

Snack: Blueberry Vanilla Protein Pancakes/Honey Candy

Lunch: Baked Sweet Potato with Ground Chicken & Salsa
I seasoned the chicken with curry powder so it had a real nice flavor to it.

I believe that was the last of my salsa too.  I will be making some more maybe next week or the week after.  See how long I can go with not having any in the house.

Snack: Vanilla Butter Finger Smoothie
I only drank half of this smoothie.  Talk about will power!  I put the other half in the fridge and I will see if it will keep until tomorrow.  Around dinner time tonight I realized that I forgot to put the peanut butter in the smoothie...DUH!  While I was drinking it earlier I thought it tasted different somehow...now I know why.

Dinner: Turkey and Spinach Roll Ups
This meal is from the Clean Eating magazine and Cookbook.  Be kind when you look at the picture.  I told you the other day I need to clean the freezer out and this is one of the meals that I found in there.  I made them way back in February I believe the package stated.

I know they don't look as good as my other meals have looked in the past...
BUT they have been in the freezer for 6 months.  They tasted okay though.  The whole wheat pasta was a little bit tough just on the top, the rest of it was just fine.  I think I have four more servings in the freezer.  I have one more sweet potato left in the kitchen, so I think tomorrow for lunch I will thaw out another Roll Up serving and use the filling on top of the baked sweet potato.  Sound good?

No sense throwing out good, healthy and CLEAN food, especially when they are already prepared.  I will get through all this food in the freezer before September 3rd.  That is when I will start prepping, cooking and baking for the next few months(and beyond).

Snack: Coconut & Fig Granola Bar
I can never seem to make things like the recipe calls for.  This recipe was also from September's Issue of Oxygen Magazine page 90.  Only they call it Apricot & Coconut Granola Bars.  I did not have any apricots so I used dried figs instead.  I thought I had some unsweetened applesauce but I did NOT.  So I used the Graspberry Jelly(I told you that you would see it a lot). Also I did not rolled the bars in ground cashews, again I did not have them in the house.  I don't what possessed me to think that I should make these bars when I didn't have half the ingredients in the house.  It's called being CREATIVE!

They are quite easy to make and really good.
Next week I will make them as the recipe is written in the magazine.
There are also some nice looking Goji Dark Chocolate Bars on the same page in the magazine, but those will have to wait a little longer.  I just read the recipe and they could be made without the chocolate too.  Somehow I don't think they will taste as good...but maybe I will give them a try...chocolate-free.

I know I told you yesterday that I was going to take a picture of the prize for the Facebook Page giveaway...well, I am adding some more things to the prize, so once I have it ALL together then I will post the picture.  I better do it soon though because the numbers are climbing.

I wrote the first part of today's post this morning before 7:30am and I was feeling a bit blah about that 5 lbs that showed up on the scale.  I wasn't worrying about it, I just felt BLAH.  I know why I seem to have a PLUS after holidays...I don't drink nearly as much water as when I am at home.  So today I decided it was time to push theUP button on the water consumption.  I drank 18 cups of water today, that's just over 4 litres of water.  And as I sit here tonight writing the rest of this post, I am no longer feeling BLAH...I am feeling rather, Tightened Up on this Tuesday evening.  I can see more of a definition in my arms than I did this morning.  And it can only get better!  I will not be drinking anymore tonight, as I don't want to be getting up in the middle of the night to pee.  I am going to bed shortly to get a good night's sleep to prepare myself for Wicked Workout Wednesday.

Until then...Stay Strong!

Good night

Trina

    1. Hey VD,

Thank you so much for reading along. Great job on making it to Phase 2 JMBR, that's fantastic! I think Phase 2 was my favorite.
Are you drinkng lots and lots of water? Water is a major factor when losing weight and well, being healthy. I am not an expert and never claimed to be, but you could always try dropping your calorie intake for a week just to try and jump start your metabolism, to see if that helps. I know before I started JMBR I had hit a plateau and I needed something to get me off of it. I did do the 7-day kick start so that helped me out quite a bit. After that first week at a lower calorie count, you could start to up your calories again. Stress is a BIG factor when trying to lose weight. If you are under a lot or even a little bit of stress it can play havoc on your mind and body. So...Keep Calm and Stay Strong! Don't let the little things in life get the best of you.

      I am 5'6 1/2" tall.

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to message me or leave another comment. I hope that I have helped a bit.

      Stay Strong!

  2. Thanks Trina, i did not do the 7 day kick start , may be be i can dust out that meal plan and stick to that for a week , but as for doing double schedule in phase two would be too much of a stress on my body, just a single workout in a day is very tough as is. You are a great inspiration and i really admire how you make and stick very close to your plan, sticking to the plan without giving up too soon has always been my nemesis. Keeping up with your blog has been helping so far :) . Thanks a Ton!!!
