4:00am...WAKE UP!!!!!!
Yep! I was up at 4 o'clock this morning in support of my husband's journey to a Healthier Version of Himself. We had both set our alarms for 4:00am and they both went off at the exact time. We were both up and out of bed at once. Not much was said to one another as we were both pretty tired...BUT...we got dressed in our workout clothes and headed downstairs to attack Cardio 1. He only had time to do it once, I had time to do it...well...probably 6 times, but I only did it twice.
<<<This picture here was taken when I was done both my workouts for today. THIS is the time when I normally wake up. Not anymore.
4am is the NEW 5:30am
I remember now how much I disliked Hot Feet or Fast Feet. LOL. This time around it is not so bad. Sometimes I combine the Brazil Butt Lift way of doing this same move. I pretend I am hitting a drum, Booty Drums, as it is called in BBL. By hitting the fake drum, it kind of makes that minute go by faster and takes your mind off yours legs and the way they are feeling. This workout is ONLY 26 minutes long, so NO excuses. I have been feeling that ever-so-good-soreness feeling again. Jillian definitely challenges me and the way the program is designed...it works for me...and it can work for you too. You just have to START and STOP making excuses.
I hope everyone that has started up on their second or maybe third round of Body Revolution, is enjoying it as much as I am. Or maybe it's your second attempt at trying the program, and this time you will make it through to the end. You can do it! I'm right here with you. Remember to write down your goals, small and large. And put a date on them, so that you will have something to strive for. I have found in the past that if there is no definite due date or deadline, then things won't happen as well as you would like. Write things down in a journal, on a calendar and/or on a wall/board of inspiration/rewards. I have my Stay Strong notebook, and this time around I am going to create my own wall/board of inspiration/rewards. Pull pictures from magazines, the Internet, from your own photographs or stories of inspiration...pin them all up where you can see them. Once you see them in front of you, you will start visualizing YOU with fantastic abs, or YOU in that gorgeous black open back dress, or YOU curling 25 lbs, and YOU, being A Healthier Version of YOU.
Today's food...
Breakfast: Eggs and Bacon with Tomato
This morning instead of Poached Eggs, I had 2 Hard Boiled Eggs with my Canadian Back Bacon.
I made this soup up last night after dinner. Remember I told you how wonderful it smelled and tasted???
Well it was even better today. It was to be served with Poached Chicken...blah...that just doesn't do anything for me, so I used the last piece of Grilled Chicken that we made up the other day. I heated it up and then cut it up into small pieces and threw it in the soup. DELICIOUS!!!
Snack: Pecan Vanilla Crunch with a hint of Pumpkin Pie Spice
I added the Pumpkin Pie Spice to this recipe just to be different, and to see what it would taste like. It was nice. My husband ate Celery and Almond Butter instead.
I love Pumpkin Pie in case you didn't already know that. So this was a nice touch to the plain Greek yogurt with pecan and vanilla.
I will be making a CLEANED UP Pumpkin Pie this fall, so watch for my recipe. I know I haven't posted many recipes lately, but hopefully with my kids both in school this year and during quiet time in the daycare, I will have some time to think and work on recipes.
Dinner: Turkey Burgers with Brussels Sprouts & Carrots with Tomato & Avocado
Mmm...this was SO good!
In yesterday's post, I mentioned that the kids joined in while doing Workout 2, but I forgot to post the pictures...
They are such troopers.
Deflate child obesity...set a good example for your kids through exercise and eating right.
Another 4 o'clock wake up call in the morning, so I am going to say "Stay Strong" and "good night" and then get my butt in bed. I will talk to you again tomorrow.
Until then...Stay Strong!
Good night

I ordered Body revolution!! I am super excited, although when I ordered it I accidently clicked on something wrong and it also ordered two other workout DVDs of hers and the level 2 band..I called to cancel that and they said that if I just keep it, they will give me a $25 refund..GREAT! :) I stopped Insanity right now because the tooth pain that you have been reading about in my blog was needing a root canal and I have been on pain killers for a while now :( I will keep doing Insanity starting again Sunday until I get the DVDs in the mail!
