Day 44 of Round 2 Body Revolution

Day 44 = Workout 8

Workout 8 feels so long ago now.  I will return to it again on Friday along with Glorious Glutes.  I am feeling better and I am going to build my workouts back up slowly.  I will talk about Workout 8 on Friday of this week.

As I mentioned yesterday, I was working on changing up my blog.  The new buttons actually work!  And there is something on the other end...WooHoo...I am so smart...SMRT! LOL  As you can see I have added the following tabs, HOME...that's to bring you back home, ABOUT ME...well you know what that means, your pretty SMRT too.  It also includes some of the things that inspire me.  ADVERTISE WITH ME...for businesses looking to advertise on my blog.  If you know of anyone who is looking for an inexpensive and fun way of advertising, send them my way please.  EVENTS WITH ME...here I will post events that I will be taking part in...races, shows, charity events etc.  COOK WITH ME...here you will find Recipes of CLEAN and healthy foods.  CONTACT ME...my contact information, just in case you want or need to contact me.  SHOP WITH ME...this will be a shopping area for A Healthier Version of Me and You products.  Right now it's all a work in progress still, so things will be added as I go along.  Please be patient.

I know that this post is not very inspiring in the way of fitness, but today was very inspiring for me.  I was unsure of how to do the changes for my blog myself, but I didn't give up and I got it done.  Just like how your journey may be...It may be hard at times, but never give up.  Even if you mess up a few times, keep moving forward and you will get what you want.

Today's food...
Breakfast: Carrot Cake Pancakes topped with Honey Greek Yogurt

I made these pancakes the other week and threw them in the freezer.  It was nice to have something that I could thaw out and eat on a busy morning.  I made these with Quinoa Flour...not so good.  Well, they were good but I didn't care for the smell of them.  It was from the flour itself.  Next time I will try the same recipe with a different flour.

I am tired of pancakes though.  The past few weeks I have relied on the frozen quick breakfasts that were on hand.  New things will be coming up soon.

Snack: Clean Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing

This was the last of the carrot cake and I won't be making any more soon.  Even though it is CLEAN, there are still calories in it and I don't need any extra calories lingering around my home tempting me in the kitchen.

Lunch: Shrimp and Spinach Salad with Sweet Corn


Dinner: Turkey Burger with Guacamole and Garlic Baked Pita Chips

This meal was super good, but I had to rush to eat it because we had to get to my daughter's dance class and we were running a bit late.  My husband loved them and he asked me to make them again.  DEFINITELY! I will be enjoying some more of the guacamole again tomorrow.  Yum!!!

Snack: Chocolate Pumpkin Brownies
This was the last of the brownies too.  These were very tempting and I am thankful that they are gone now.  With the things of I baked up the last few weeks and taste tested and with being ill, I am feeling rather puffy and look forward to the getting back to my planning of meals.  I always have said that planning is the KEY.  And I haven't used that KEY these past few weeks.  I haven't had the energy to do so.  But now I back BABY!  FINALLY!  I've missed ME!  hehehe.

    Love the new buttons. I'm so excited that you have a cook with me section! I love to look at the pictures of the food that you make. I'm going to have to try some of these.

    I'm right with you on BR. I'm sore in the chest and arms today from all of those pushups in workout 7. Love the feeling though because it means I'm changing! Yay.
