Day 45 of Round 2 Body Revolution

Day 45 = Cardio 2

I have to share some pure unconditional love with you all today.  The following pictures are of my little girl fast asleep...
10:30 Tuesday night                            7:05 Wednesday morning
Good night Kitty                                 Good morning Kitty

Our cat Belle, as in Jinglebelle, stayed on that pillow all night.  If she did get up at all in the night, she returned back to that same spot by the morning.  So much love.  My daughter said that she has loved Belle as soon as we got her, and that Belle has loved her from that same moment.  I think so!  So sweet.
If that what it takes to keep her in her own bed all night, then Belle can sleep there ALL the time.  I had always kept the kid's bedroom doors closed so the cats could not get in and bother them through the night.  But now that the children are getting older, they want the doors left open, at least for now.  I know when they get to the teenage years, the doors will probably always be closed...until then, I will take it day by day.

Okay now on to my workout for today.  Cardio 2...always a good one to clear the head.  Yesterday I mentioned that I was feeling a bit puffy.  Well my puffiness was definitely deflated by Cardio 2 this morning, and that's a GREAT THING!  My "Hot Feet" were on FIRE this morning.  I think today was THE best I have ever done this move.  There are times were my feet are hopping off the floor and then all of sudden they just seem to get stuck on the ground and just my heels seem to be moving, then I get them back up again.  That may sound strange, and it is, but that's what happens some times, most times...but NOT today, I ROCKED them!  I am planning to push it hard over the next few days to make up for the past couple weeks of feeling...blah.  My energy levels are back up, and I am ready to continue on my journey as I was before I came down with this silly, crappy cold.  I am grateful that it is gone now.

Okay...so the other day I posted some information about the Tough Mudder event that is coming up in May in Toronto, ON, 2013.  Thank you to those who have pass the message along to your friends to LIKE my Facebook page, the numbers are rising.  I know the rest of you don't want to see me suffer through the obstacles of the Tough Mudder, and that is why you haven't passed on the message...RIGHT?  It's time to get TOUGH, NOT nice.  Spread the word...I need the challenge and I want all of you to be a part of it.  I try to inspire you each day I write this blog, now it's time for you to step up to the plate and give me a push to register for this event.  My Facebook page is sitting at 118 LIKEs, I NEED 82 more. My blog is sitting at 67 Followers, only 33 more, and I WILL register for the Tough Mudder Toronto 2013.  I know of a few friends that are wanting to do it, but they have yet to register too, so if YOU are interested in forming a team let me know, and maybe we can all conquer the course together.

Today's food...
Breakfast: Apple, Mango, Pomegranate and Honey Greek Yogurt

Just a mixture of fruits topped with some honey Greek Yogurt with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
So easy.  So delicious.  So refreshing.

Lunch: Salmon and Spinach Salad

Snack: Banana Chocolate Chip Loaf
I made this today for snack time for the daycare kids.  Totally clean and very yummy.  I did not take a picture of this but there is still some left for tomorrow's snack time.  I will take a picture and post the recipe tomorrow, you will also be able to find the recipe in "Cook With Me" then.  I will be adding the recipes from past blog post in that section when I get the time.

Dinner: Baja Salad(Wendy's)
After the kids swim class tonight we picked up some food at Wendy's.  The half size Baja Salad is always my favourite from Wendy's.

Here is a little something that I mixed up today for the first time.  I made my own All Natural Fruit Roll Ups...

Strawberry Apple All Natural Fruit Roll Ups

INGREDIENTS
2 large apples, cored and diced
2 cups strawberries, greens removed
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup water

ONE: Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and process about 30 seconds, or until smooth.
TWO: Pour mixture onto some parchment paper, fitted to the shape of the dehydrator trays, and place in a food dehydrator.
THREE: Dehydrate for 4-6 hours.
FOUR: Remove parchment paper and flip fruit over.  Continue drying another 2-4 hours.

I am going to try some other fruits mixtures tomorrow.  I have some more apples, some mango, banana, kiwi and grapes.  I may even try some Veggie Roll Ups.  I will post some pictures of the steps that I take to make these in the "Cook With Me" section along with this recipe tomorrow.

Until then...Stay Strong!

Good night

Trina
