Wednesday & Thursday Recap = Killer Abs, Yoga, Ri30 and a Triple Stroller Run

Wednesday Recap - I woke up and wanted to get some Yoga done.  However, the Yoga workout I wanted to do would have been too long, and I would be late in waking up my children.  So...I began my day with Jillian Michaels Killer Abs Level 1 workout, followed by her Yoga Meltdown Level 1.

I registered for my second 5K race today.  The 28th Annual Brita Resolution Run.  It's on January 1st, 2013 at 12 noon, starting at the YMCA in Kitchener, ON.

It was a great start to my Wednesday.

I didn't have a very good finish to my Wednesday though.  I was planning on running to the kid's swimming lesson, but I started to get a headache and a face ache...that's right! A face ache.  I was experiencing yet again, another sinus infection...great!  It got worse as I were watching the kids swim in their last fall swimming lesson.  My headache got worse because it is SO warm in the viewing gallery, and did not help me at all.  Once we got out of there, I felt so tired and just wanted to chill out at home.  My son read his home reading books to me and we snuggled up together.  Then it was off to bed early.  I think I was in bed by 9:30pm.  I thought, "Oh great an early night for once, I should feel great in the morning".

Thursday - "Oh I should feel great, eh?"...Not the case.

My daughter was up in the night again, and that meant I was up in the night again.  My husband attempted to wake me up this morning, as I asked him to do.  But he went off to work and I went off to sleep again.

Not so good sleep = No morning workout for me

No worries though, I managed to get in a run this morning.  Yes I was working, but some of the kids were home sick, so I bundled up the 2 I had with me, put them in the triple stroller that I have and covered them with the wind shield.  Here were my running partners...

I was ready to go...well almost.  I started out with a walk and then noticed that the tires were flat on the stroller.  So I had to stop and fill them with air.  My C25K program continued on.  So between the late start of running and the weight of pushing the stroller, I was a bit slower and longer on this run.  Once I was done, I noticed that I only ran for about 4K.  I still logged it in the log, because I worked my A$$ off getting those kids up those hills.  We got back to the house, warmed up and had some lunch.

After lunch, it was nap/quiet time, so I had time to squeeze in my strength training workout.  I chose to do a workout from Week 1 of Ripped in 30.  It was great because this workout is only 35 minutes and I had enough time to grab a quick shower.  It felt great that I was able to get in my run and strength training after all.  I had a Maus Wear customer come tonight so I knew I needed to get it done before that.

This was me post triple-stroller(with two occupants)run.
Today was a good day all around.

I am going to call it a night now.  My headache is gone, but starting to feel tired now.  And if my daughter is up in the night tonight...I should have gone to bed an hour ago.  I definitely want to hit Jillian's Killer Abs workout again tomorrow.  But I make shake it up with one of the Body Revolution "Back" workouts.

Until then...Stay Strong!

Good night
