Brazil Butt Lift Day 2 of 35

Day 2 = Basics + Bum Bum (pronounced Boom Boom)

Today began with the Basics again followed up by Bum Bum.  This week begins with doing the Basics on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday along with the other workouts.  This allows you to learn the moves, get them right to help avoid injury and to ensure the best workout for yourself.
Bum Bum, or as it is pronounced Boom Boom means booty, is another dance style cardio workout.  It’s not as “dancy”, I find as Cardio Axe.  The moves are little more structured and not like moves you would be doing on the dance floor.  Like you don’t go out to a club and do 20 squats and then squats with kicks and so on.  Or may you do???  I don’t know, but I know I don’t…LOL.  Maybe you dance like Elaine from Seinfeld.
Speaking of squats…there are quite a few in these workouts.  RushFit got me ready for this workout, with all the ones we do in this workout...HOLY!  There are a few other moves that are the similar, only with a little more DANCE!   In Bum Bum, the move “Capoeira” shows up, and it was also in RushFit.  Well let me tell you…the Bum Bum version is MUCH harder to do than the RushFit version.  I didn’t know how to spell "Capoeira" when I was doing RushFit, but now I know and I also know that it is a tough move.  I believe Jillian does this same move in Shed & Shred…

Leandro Carvalho beats them all.
I will tackle it again on Thursday.  There is also a move that all of you Body Revolutionist will know ALL too well.  You know it as “Hot Feet” or “Fast Feet”, as Jillian calls it.  Well in the Brazil Butt Lift get ready for “Shake Your Booty” and “Booty Drums”...”you shake and let it go, shake your butt”…those are the instructions…LOL.  This is where the jiggle has to turn into a wiggle.

So far I am not feeling any soreness in my legs, butt or anywhere else.  That is because I am so highly conditioned already…LOL…kidding.  I am in good shape though, so I should be able to handle all this dancing and shaking of the booty.  I say this now, but you watch, in the morning I won’t be able to get out of bed because I can’t move my legs.  I’ll keep you posted!

So I am following the meal plan as much as possible, but today I switched things up a bit.

Today’s food…
Breakfast:  High Fiber Cereal with Skim Milk
This is the first bowl of cereal I have had in a long, long time.

Snack: Pecans
This is where I things started to get switched up.  The nuts were to be for my afternoon snack, and they were supposed to be walnuts, not pecans.  I didn’t have any walnuts in house, so I choose pecans instead.

Lunch: Avocado Salad with Dijon Dressing and Mushroom Crepes
Another switch up…the salad was supposed to have turkey breast on it, but all I had was ground turkey, which I could have used or Fat Free Deli Turkey.  I went to look in the fridge and I saw the Crepes, and I thought I better use them up or they will end up in the garbage.  So I heated two of those up and paired them up with my salad.
It was a delicious lunch.
The Dijon dressing was made from scratch and very simple too.

DIJON DRESSING
Makes enough for one serving

1 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp vinegar

How simple is that???

Snack: Strawberries (and a few Raspberries) with 1% Cottage Cheese
I am not a big fan of Cottage Cheese so this was a test of my taste buds and power to try new things and things that aren’t my favorites.
It was pretty good, and yes, I would eat it again.

Dinner: Sole Topped with Salsa served with Broccoli and Long Grain Brown Rice
This was another switch up.  The fish was supposed to be Tilapia but I had bought some Sole the other day and wanted to use it rather then going out and buying Tilapia.

The Brown Rice was also topped with MY homemade salsa that I made last year.  I will definitely be making more again this year.  It is SO good!

Another very delicious day in the way of food.  Tomorrow looks like it will be another yummy day.

Until then...Stay Strong!

And shake that Booty!

Good night

Trina
