Day 21 = Rest Day
It was a rest day for all physical fitness, but not a stress
free day. I did not do the Plyo XT as I
said I might do. Instead I did my income
tax. Trust me; I would have rather done
Plyo XT 5 times over.
We had a late night because we hit the drive-in movies again
on Saturday night. The kids always have
fun snuggling in the sleeping bags watching the movies. They really don’t care what’s on, because
they don’t really pay attention anyway.
It’s like a party for them.
Intermission time...
The intermission was about 5 minutes long. I figured it was short because it was cold, and they wanted to get the show rolling and everybody home.
So after getting in after midnight, I
rolled out of bed late and knew that the taxes were calling my name. BLAH!!!
But I got them done and was not happy with the outcome. Oh well, I will stay strong and I will get
past this too.
I wanted to get out for a run, but did not. : ( After completing the taxes, I was pissed off
and depressed in a way. So my husband
said, “Come on, let’s get out of the house and get some food”. Good!
I didn’t have to cook. But I
still needed to get some groceries.
This post seems so depressing and I don’t really want to
post it, but it is all part of the journey.
The GOOD, the BAD and the UGLY!
We all have our Ups and Downs and we need to get through them one step
at a time. Stay positive and you will
succeed. I know that it’s hard to stay positive
through tough times, but it is something that must be done or you will overcome
yourself with doom and gloom and you will lose track of where you are on your
journey. So if you too have just done
your taxes or still need to do them stay positive. I am staying positive by thinking of the Color
Me Rad 5K run in June in Toronto . I keep seeing pictures of other races through
Facebook and Instagram and I get so happy knowing that I will get to be a part
of all that colour fun. Yay!!!!
But before I get there, I have some training to do, and more
TapouT XT workouts. Actually, the day of
the Toronto 5K
Color Me Rad run will be my last day of TapouT XT. What a way to celebrate, eh?!?!?! I may have to double up my last two workouts
the day before or do the last workout on the day after the run.
